I’m Courtney and I initially created Girl Avant Garde to share my favorite things, my inspirations, and my journey with the world. I started this blog at the most exciting time in my life: during my transition from college girl to career woman. As a law student in NYC it’s easy to get shaken up in the whirlwind and this blog has become a timeline of the things that keep me afloat.

I’m, also, currently in my last semester of law school and I’m eager and excited to enter the legal world. Lawyers get a bad rap sometimes and I’m here to change that by proving that even professionals have a light & human side. I’m interested in pursuing a career in fashion law, and my creative partnerships and collaborations for Girl Avant Garde allow me to explore cutting edge issues at the forefront of the blogging world.
