Some of my fondest memories of growing up in New Jersey are from the month of May. It’s that time of year when we’d first put away our denim jackets and bring out the bikinis and mini skirts. My friends and I, especially during out senior year of high school, would take the day off and drive to the beach, windows down, hair blowing, and music blasting. And I’m definitely a music lover, but ever since then, music has had a special place in my heart during the summertime. This summer is flying by, and I’ve only just realized I haven’t shared my summer favorites. So before it is over, here’s my summer 2012 playlist- a list of music perfect for the beach, parties, or while getting ready for a night out.

Aww I grew up done the shore in Jersey too and couldn’t agree more. I’ll never forget the high school days of leaving school and heading right for the beach, music blasting, and staying all night.
